Auto Seven 7 Trade Bids
Last updated 21 October 2026
1. About us and these terms
1.1Auto Seven 7 Trade Bids is operated by Auto Seven 7 Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10678314, whose registered office is at 4 Holmesfield Road, Warrington, England, WA1 2DS ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at info@autoseven7ltd.co.uk.
1.2These terms apply to every use of this website and to every vehicle you bid on or buy through it. By registering, bidding or buying you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1.3In these terms, "you" means the motor trade business that registered the account, and anyone acting for it using that account.
2. Trade buyers only
2.1This website is only for businesses buying vehicles in the course of their motor trade business. It is not available to consumers. By registering and by each bid you confirm that you are acting for the purposes of your trade or business and not as a consumer.
2.2Consumer protection laws that apply to sales to private individuals (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which give consumers cancellation and return rights) do not apply to sales made through this website.
2.3You must give accurate business and contact details and keep them up to date. We may ask for evidence of your trading status. We may approve, refuse, suspend or close any account at our discretion, including if we believe the information provided is inaccurate or these terms have been broken.
3. Your account
3.1You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything done using your account, including bids. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
3.2You must not share your account, bid on behalf of an undisclosed third party, or interfere with the website or other users' bidding.
4. Vehicle descriptions and inspection
4.1We describe each vehicle honestly and in good faith using the information available to us at the time of listing, including photographs, a condition grade and the faults known to us.
4.2Faults listed are those known to us at the time of listing. The list is not exhaustive, and vehicles may have other faults, wear or defects that we are not aware of. Condition grades and summaries are our general opinion, not a technical inspection report. Photographs are of the actual vehicle but may not show every mark or defect.
4.3Unless a listing states otherwise, vehicles have not been prepared, serviced, valeted or mechanically inspected before sale, and are offered in the condition they were received. As a guide we suggest allowing at least £250 for unforeseen issues; this is a guide only and not a limit on what may be needed.
4.4Mileage is the reading shown on the vehicle's odometer, given in good faith. Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, we do not warrant that the recorded mileage is correct. Service history, MOT and other history information is given in good faith from the records and data sources available to us (including DVSA MOT records) and is not warranted.
4.5You are responsible for satisfying yourself about each vehicle before you bid. You may inspect any vehicle before its auction closes by arranging an appointment with us. If you choose not to inspect, you accept the vehicle as described on the website.
5. Timed auctions and bidding
5.1Each auction has a published closing time. A bid placed in the final two minutes extends the closing time by two minutes so that every bidder has a fair chance to respond.
5.2Each bid is a binding offer to buy the vehicle at that price on these terms. Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed. Bids are recorded by our system using its own clock, and our records are conclusive as to the time and amount of each bid.
5.3A vehicle may have a reserve price. The reserve amount is confidential; the website shows only whether it has been met. When an auction closes, if the highest bid meets or exceeds the reserve (or there is no reserve), a binding contract of sale is formed between us and the highest bidder at the amount of that bid. If the reserve is not met, no contract is formed, although we may contact the highest bidder to discuss a sale.
5.4We, our staff and anyone acting for us never bid on our own vehicles.
5.5We may withdraw a vehicle, or change or cancel an auction, at any time before a contract is formed, for example if a vehicle is damaged, sold elsewhere, or a description error is found. If we cancel an auction we will tell bidders. We may refuse or remove any bid we reasonably believe was placed in breach of these terms.
5.6If a technical fault, outage or obvious error (for example a clearly incorrect price or listing) affects an auction, we may cancel or re-run that auction. We are not responsible if you are unable to bid because of problems with your device, internet connection or the website, and you should not leave bidding until the final moments.
6. Price, fees and VAT
6.1No buyer's premium, auction fee or administration fee is charged: the price you pay for a vehicle is your winning bid. The only possible addition is a service you ask us to provide (for example delivery), which will be agreed with you before it is added to your invoice.
6.2Vehicles are sold under the VAT margin scheme unless we state otherwise in writing. No VAT is shown separately on margin scheme invoices and VAT cannot be reclaimed on them.
7. Invoicing and payment
7.1We will invoice you after the sale. Payment must be made in full by bank transfer, in cleared funds, within 2 working days of the invoice date. We do not accept card payments or cash through this website.
7.2Always check our bank details directly with us by telephone before making a first payment. We will never change our bank details by email alone.
7.3If you do not pay on time we may: (a) charge interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998; (b) suspend your account; and (c) cancel the sale by notice and resell the vehicle, in which case you will be liable for any shortfall in price and our reasonable costs of resale.
8. Ownership, risk and collection
8.1We confirm that we have the right to sell each vehicle and that, at the time of sale, it is free from any outstanding finance or charge unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
8.2Ownership of the vehicle passes to you only when we have received payment in full in cleared funds. Until then the vehicle remains our property.
8.3Vehicles will only be released once payment has cleared. Unless we agree otherwise, you must collect the vehicle (or arrange transport at your cost) within 5 working days of payment clearing. We may charge reasonable storage for vehicles not collected in time, and we will tell you the rate before any charge applies.
8.4Risk in the vehicle passes to you on collection, or at the end of the collection period if you have not collected it by then. You are responsible for any insurance, road tax, MOT and roadworthiness checks needed before the vehicle is driven or transported on a public road.
8.5We will deal with the registration document (V5C) and notify DVLA of the change of keeper as required by DVLA rules.
9. Sold as seen: no warranty
9.1This is a trade sale between businesses. Vehicles are sold as seen, with no warranty or guarantee of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all terms implied by statute or common law as to the vehicle's description, quality, fitness for any purpose or correspondence with any sample (including those implied by sections 13 to 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979) are excluded.
9.2You agree that this exclusion is reasonable because you are a motor trade professional, you have the opportunity to inspect each vehicle before bidding, and prices reflect that vehicles are sold without warranty.
9.3Nothing in these terms excludes our obligation under section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 that we have the right to sell the vehicle.
10. Our liability
10.1Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
10.2Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from any sale is limited to the price paid for the vehicle concerned.
10.3We are not liable for any loss caused by the website being unavailable, slow or interrupted, or for any bid that is not received.
11. Entire agreement
11.1These terms, the vehicle's listing on the website and our invoice together form the entire agreement for each sale. You confirm that in bidding you have not relied on any statement, promise or representation that is not set out in them. This does not affect liability for fraud.
12. Using the website
12.1You may use the website only for its intended purpose of viewing and buying our vehicles. You must not copy or republish our listings, photographs or content, use automated tools to access the website, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
12.2We may change, suspend or withdraw the website, or any part of it, at any time.
13. Your information
13.1We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Notice, available at /privacy.
14. Changes, law and disputes
14.1We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on the website when you place a bid applies to that bid and any resulting sale.
14.2If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
14.3These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
