1.1Auto Seven 7 Ltd (company number 10678314, registered office 4 Holmesfield Road, Warrington, England, WA1 2DS) operates Auto Seven 7 Trade Bids and is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. Contact us about privacy at info@autoseven7ltd.co.uk.

2.1Account and business details you give us when registering: business name, trading name, Companies House and VAT numbers (if any), business address, website, contact name, telephone number and email address.

2.2Activity on the website: vehicles you watch, bids you place (amount and time), purchases, invoices, payments and collection records, and messages you send us.

2.3Technical information needed to run the website securely, such as sign-in session cookies and server logs (including IP address and browser type).

2.4If you are a sole trader or partnership, some of your business details are also personal information about you.

3.1To create and manage your trade account, check your trading status, run auctions, process sales, invoices, payments and collections, and send you service emails such as outbid alerts, auction results and account updates. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you, or taking steps at your request before entering into it.

3.2To keep the website secure, prevent misuse and fraud, keep an audit trail of bids and changes, and improve our service. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a fair and secure trade sales platform.

3.3To keep accounting and tax records and meet other legal obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

3.4We do not send marketing emails through this website and we do not sell your information.

4.1Service providers who run parts of the website for us and may only use your information on our instructions: our database and sign-in provider (Supabase, data stored in Ireland, EU), our email delivery provider (Resend, Ireland region), and our website hosting provider.

4.2Our accountants, insurers, professional advisers and HMRC where needed, and law enforcement or other authorities where required by law.

4.3Where any provider processes information outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

4.4Other traders never see your identity: other bidders see only bid amounts and the number of bids.

5.1We keep your account information while your account is open. Records of bids, sales, invoices and payments are kept for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, to meet accounting and tax rules and in case of legal claims. Applications we decline are deleted after 12 months.

6.1We use only essential cookies that keep you signed in and keep the website secure. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary, we do not ask for consent, but you can block them in your browser (you will not then be able to sign in).

7.1You have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected, to have it deleted or its use restricted in some circumstances, to object to our use of it based on legitimate interests, and to receive it in a portable format. Some information (such as sales records) must be kept for legal reasons even if you ask us to delete it.
